Emran Hashmi latest release Jawani Diwani must have bombed at the big screen but he has a fair amount of films lined up for release in 2006.

Emran next will be suspense-thriller Aksar which will release in the last week of January. This Shyam Bajaj and Narendra Bajaj’s film, directed by Ananth Narayan Mahadevan has been shot extensively in U.K. and it also stars Udita Goswami and Dino Morea. Aksar focuses on the mind games between three people.

After that Vishesh Film’s Gangster which is directed by Anurag Basu starring Hashmi along with Shiney Ahuja and newcomer Kangna would release in a few months. This film is based the life of Abu Salem and Monica Bedi and shooting of the film has been done in South Korea.

Mahesh Bhatt’s Killer with Hashmi is in planning stage. Then there’s Good Boy Bad Boy with Subhash Ghai and Babloo Pachishia has signed again Hashmi for his next film titled Jhamela.

Emran Hashmi and Kunal Khemu after delivering latest hit Kalyug will agan star together in director Mohit Suri’s film on male bonding, to be called Friends.
