Farah Khan’s next with Shah Rukh, shaping up

Choreographer turned Director Farah Khan’s next film ‘Happy New Year’ with Bollywood Superstar Shahrukh Khan has started shaping up. Farah has decided Model Deepika Padukone as the leading lady for her second venture.

This out and out comedy will be a fast-moving entertainer with no action and it will see more number of stars than ‘Main Hoon Na’. Anu Malik will do the music. The film is scheduled for 2006 release.

Talking about her forthcoming film, Farah said, “The project is in a nascent stage. The script is getting ready and after that I will give the details. But one thing for sure, Shah Rukh is going to be a part of it.”

Model Deepika Padukone is the daughter of ex-badminton player Prakash Padukone and was last seen as the Close-Up girl. Now she will be seen opposite Shahrukh Khan in Happy New Year.

SRK had starred in Farah’s first directorial hit ‘Main Hoon Na’ and was also its producer. Again this time he is starring in and producing Happy New Year.

Farah also reveled that Shah Rukh will continue to be in all her future projects as he is her great friend and well-wisher. “More than professional reasons, my relations with Shah Rukh are very personal and he will be there in all my future projects. At this point of time, I cannot think beyond him,” Farah said.

“Whether as an actor or as a producer of my film, King Khan will always be there. I think he is not only a big star but also a great actor and stage performer”, She added.
