Flavours releasing in India

After a successful run in North America, and wide acclaim from the audience and mainstream North American critics, Flavours, the acclaimed comedy, is now set for release in India next month. The film will be distributed by PVR Pictures Limited, the fully owned subsidiary of PVR Limited. Producer Anupam Mittal and CEO of People Group that also owns the popular portal, shaadi.com, said: “FLAVORS has been made for the New Age Indian (NAI). It is for the discerning theater going audience, which we estimate, is approximately 50-75 million people in India. These individuals are tired of the same old formula movies that are being dished out and are looking for something that is different yet thoroughly entertaining. FLAVORS is an attempt to offer this market world-class, sophisticated and enjoyable movies. Hopefully, we will achieve our goal!”

The movie produced by Anupam Mittal, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. is a hilarious and witty, and takes a refreshingly new look at the lives of the Indian Diaspora in America. It stars popular Hindi cinema actors Anjan Srivastava and Bharati Achrekar; Hollywood actor Reef Karim and former Miss India-USA Pooja Kumar

The film has an excellent soundtrack by Leslie Lewis, a well known Indipop artist and one-half of the fusion band Colonial Cousins; and talented composer Mahesh Shankar.
