Friday releases include “Memsahib” and “Duvidha “

Other then the three films “De Taali”, ”Haal-E-Dil” and “Khushboo”, the two other films “Memsahib” and “Duvidha” were also released on Friday,June 20 and both the films have been released in some selected regions. The film ‘Duvidha’ has been made by Sharat Kumar and the film is based on his novel “Lal Kothi Alvida”.

On the same subject a television serial was also made for channel Doordarshan and the film “Duvidha” is made into a two hour movie by the director who said that the audience response to the television serial made him to make the film.

The story of the film “Duvidha” is about 90’s decade and the plot goes back to parents and into the pre –independence eras. The film maker Sharat Kuamr has been earlier associated to theatre and he constructed a Haweli kind of structure close to Delhi to shoot for the film. The lead actors in the film are Raashi and Manoj Verma. The film is released in Select City Walk through PVR Films.

The second movie (rather unknown to most of the Hindi movie audience) is “Memsahib” and the film is said to be a comeback movie of model turned actress Yukta Mookhey. The film has been produced by Kailash Shukla and the movie had completed production in the last year but the actress Yukta Mookhey did not have fan following for herself and she was also into a controversy with the price she got for doing the film that delayed its release of the film

The film was also in news for the controversies between the director and the producer .The director wanted to take up outdoor shooting of the film and the producer was not providing funds. The film is a women oriented movie in which Yukta is accompanied by actors Akshay Verma, Rufi Khan and monish Anand. The film will be released in Delhi –UP by Magnum Films.
