Director David Dhawan has planned a unique comeback for comedy king Govinda in Bollywood.

The actor will be cast opposite Katrina Kaif in this yet-to-be-titled film of Salman Khan’s home production. Produced by Sohail Khan, the film will also star Salman Khan.

“It’s too early to talk about the project. Salman and Govinda will act in my film and I am excited about that,” says director David Dhawan. According to the buzz, the director has signed Lara Dutta opposite Salman Khan.

“Everyone in the industry expected Katrina to be cast opposite Salman because of their off-screen chemistry, but this bit of information surprised all,” said a source. A close associate of Dhawan confirmed the news saying, “It’s going to be one of the most hilarious films with two of our best actors and their brilliant comic timing.”

According to another source, it was actually Salman’s idea to cast Katrina opposite Govinda. Both actors share a great camaraderie which Govinda admitted when he was spotted at the premiere of his film Kyon Ki.

“Salman is a very close friend of mine and I am glad that we are working together in a film,” said Govinda. When Salman was asked about the cast, he refused to comment. Katrina too refused to say anything. “Please wait for an official announcement,” is all she said.
