Himesh Reshammiya under plagiarism tag

Now that Music Director Himesh Reshamiya is crooning his way up the music charts, he has been accused of plagiarism by none other than DJ Akbar Sami.

DJ claims that the credit for remixing one of the biggest chart busters of 2005, Aashiq Banaya Aapne, is rightfully his and not of Himesh Reshamiya. He alleges that the song was actually ripped off from Sami’s composition.

Himesh, on the other hand, denies the allegations stating that it was the music company concerned which credited him with the remix.

DJ Akbar is one of the most esteemed and skilled DJ who has given many previous hits like Jalwa, Just chill chill and the title track for Hanuman. He has made House music popular in India and had traveled across the globe for shows before he decided to make his entry to Bollywood.

DJ is upset that his name was nowhere there in the promo but in-spite of this he is holding his calm and not taking any legal proceedings against Himesh. He is gearing to compose some more Bollywood stuff.

  1. This goes straight to Himesh Reshammiya: All the songs directed/sung by him are enticing. I request him to come out with a remix version & instead of scantly dressed blondes, please let it be “THE THREE EYED LORD - SHIVA” instead. Trust me numbers of albums sold will be N.
