The movie Sunday by Rohit Shetty is a good package that is having equal amounts of everything fun, comedy, entertainment, music, thrills, suspense and many other needed in a movie that is said to be a good movie. The script of the movie supported by fine performances from the actors of the movie makes it a really enjoyable one to watch with you family expect for a few unanswered scenes.
The movie story revolves around a missing Sunday in the life of a girl Sehar. Seher is trying to find out about the happening in her life on a Sunday that she has completely forgotten and she meets the cop A.C.P. Rajveer who helps her to find out her day.
In the proves of solving a very unusual kind of case the cop meets Ballu who is a taxi driver and Kumar who is a struggling actor and Ritu who is a close friend of Seher. On investigating for the case it is found that Seher is responsible for the killings of a person.
The cop is convinced that Seher is innocent but how will he prove that and how to get the details related to the day Seher couldn’t recall? That is all to be discovered in the story.
Rohit Shetty’s earlier movies Zameen and Golmaal were also good to watch out for few good things and this one has most improved of his movie making skills .The music of the movie is entertaining. The start of the movie is exciting. The screenplay and writing is grasping.
The performance of the actor Ajay Devgan is ok though Arshad steals the show along with Ayesha Takia and Irrfan Khan. The item number done by Esha Deol is great. There is no overacting and stressed acting’s by any performer accept for Ajay who gets repetitive.
The audiences can go to watch the movie with their families and enjoy a comedy and suspense movie. Just don’t find explanations for loop holes in the suspense and missing scenes.
Rating: 8 /10

Great movie, good comedy and very good comic timing by Arshad Warsi and Irfan Khan. After Metro, Irfan Khan impresses once again with his brand of humour. The script and pacing is great, thrills are exceptional. The role of Ajay Devgan’s assisstant is very well portrayed. All in all, a MUST-WATCH!
