First Sujoy Ghosh got a whole gamut of actors for his forthcoming release Home Delivery and now Sahara One Motion Pictures (producer of Home Delivery) has launched the nation’s first Video Website to promote the movie.

Sujoy Ghosh’s Home Delivery has 9 actors in total who are all set to make special appearances in the film, starting from Abhishek Bachchan, Karan Johar, Sanjay Dutt, Juhi Chawla, Suneil Shetty, Naseeruddin Shah, Sanjay Suri, Shayan Munshi and Peeya Rai Chowdhary. This will give a special appeal to the film.

The Sahara production house, the biggest player in the business in India has spent over Rs five lakhs to create a video website, with the entire cast of the film — including Vivek Oberoi, Boman Irani, Mahima Choudhary, Ayesha Takia, Saurabh Shukla and Tiku Talsania - shooting especially for the website. This is done to promote their movie worldwide.

Home Delivery is the entertaining story of how it takes just a single day to change a person’s outlook on life forever. As the user clicks on and enters www.homedeliverythefilm.com, he is welcomed by the pizza delivery man (played by the versatile Boman Irani in Home Delivery), who takes the user on a virtual tour to meet the characters in their individual settings, at their personal best - through dialogue and actions.

For this movie portal a special shoot was organised and a separate script crafted. Carlton D’Silva the creative director of the website said the uniqueness of this one lay in the fact that it involved a new technology. “Shooting it and compressing it into a video format was difficult because we had to use the flash 8 format which is the latest technology - flash MX is the oft-used technique.”
