Ameesha Patel who is shooting for Reema Kagti’s Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd. in Goa for a month is having a great time although they are working round the clock.

How is shooting for Honeymoon Travels going in Goa?

Goa is beautiful and I can stay here all my life. We all are having a blast here, and even before you ask, I am not fighting with any of my co-actors on the sets. It is tiring to shoot day and night, but Reema is such a fantastic director that she never lets us feel the stress. She always gives us the space which an actor expects from a director.

Do you feel different working with a woman director?

Yes, she (Reema) understands a woman's psychology well. Even before we could speak she would understand. That's the fun of working with a woman director. There are so many women in the cast too.

So are the heroes feeling outnumbered?

Not at all, everyone is enjoying themselves. It's not that we women are tyrants on the sets. In fact we were having such a good time on and off the sets that at times Zoya Akhtar (executive producer) feels that we are here for a picnic.

And that means you are having great time strolling on the beach.

Now that's the last thing we get to do here. We are shooting round the clock and when Reema calls for pack up, we crash.

What about recent media reports about your ‘cat fight’ with Priyanka Chopra for Dharmesh Darshan’s ‘Aap Ke Khatir’?

I don't know why people love salacious gossip. Priyanka was staying in a different hotel from day one because she was expecting some of her family friends and guests. Why would she have any problem with me? We barely have scenes together and whatever interactions we've had, have been extremely cordial.

Ameesha is waiting eagerly for the release of her film ‘Ankahee’ where she will be seen in a traditional gear.

I hope people don't write that I had a cat fight with Esha Deol now (laughs). She is a nice girl and we never had any issues. I am fond of Hemaji and Esha is like family to us.

It is true that I am playing a very soft and sweet traditional wife in this film. I would give credit to Vikram (Bhatt) for exploring my talent as an actor. He portrays women characters so well.

Her last release ‘Teesri Aankh’ was a complete wash out. Does such failure bother her?

Hits and flops are two sides of the same coin. I don't take success and failure seriously; trust me it's not worth it. I just concentrate on my work and leave the rest to destiny. No one can guarantee a hit, so why get anxious knowing that there is no remedy.
