Sanjay Dutt was present at IFFI in Goa for the music release function of Sanjay Gupta’s film Zinda.

Sanjay Dutt is going strong and he seems unaffected by the recent media hype surrounding Abu Salem’s arrest. Dutt said, ‘’like my movie, I’m Zinda. All that happens in my life doesn’t affect me. My movies inspire me to carry on.'’

He is even planning to revive his father late Sunil Dutt’s film production company ‘Ajanta Arts’ very soon. ‘’My best buddy Sanjay Gupta mentioned this to me when Dutt saab passed away. I think this is the right thing and the right time to do it,'’ he said.

Sunil Dutt produced some memorable films such as ‘’Mujhe Jeene Do'’, ‘’Yaadein'’ and ‘’Man Ka Meet'’ under the Ajanta Arts banner. Sanjay who has also co-produced the film said Zinda is dedicated to his father Sunil Dutt.

He was in a friendly mood. About his playback singing for a number of films and his latest song in Zinda (Ab Ho Jaaye Jo Ho Jaaye…), he joked, “It is indeed a great experience to sing. I’m making sure that if I flop as an actor, I can take up singing.”
