Indian Idol Abhijeet Sawant aims towards acting

After proving his excellence in the music reality show Abhijeet Sawant is aiming to get into acting. Abhijeet belongs to a middle class family from Mumbai and he got selected unanimously by the audience in the first Indian Idol show that was brought up by the channel Sony.

Abhijeet is considered to be one of the luckiest selected stars of Indian Idol because he got the opportunity to work in music albums and he has also got a movie to work in. His first music album was a hit among audiences that he released after getting the title of the Indian Idol.

Abhijeet Sawant is working in a movie called Lottery in which he will acting opposite actress Rucha Gujrati and Mainsha Kelkar. The movie is being made by director Hemant Prabhu.

The story of the movie Lottery is about Rohit Avasti who is working as a junior accountant in a leading fashion magazine. His job is not very interesting but he likes his profession because he is able to meet Simran Kapoor when he is at his work. He loves Simran to a level of obsession and Rohit has one sided love for her.

Rohit has a friend Kabir who warns him about the dangers of being in the one sided love and his friend also tells him that he is being used by Simran Kapoor for her benefit but Rohit is obsessed with Simran and cannot think of anything else. One more friend of Rohit, Soha comes in the scenario who is aware of the one sided love of Rohit but she gets drawn towards Rohit. She has a problem in her family life and she is need of a relationship that she wishes to have with Rohit.

In the triangular love story enters a situation when Rohit starts feeling that he will get into the love of Soha and he gets into a bet over the matter without his sanction. All that happens after his agreeing to Soha is shown in the movie.
