Is Ram Gopal Varma’s “Agyaat” similar to “Gumnaam”?

Ramu made remake of “Sholay,” political dramas, love stories, movies on underworld and terrorism but he was most benefited while he made horror movie “Phoonk.” Ramu announced to make a film called “Runn” (that means fight in Hindi) sometime back and he later announced to make a horror film called “Agyaat. “What is the story of “Agyaat?”

Ramu said that the film will be different from the horror movies previously made by him and the story will be based on a lonely island and the lead characters play role of actors and crew members. The complete cast and crew of a film go to finish shooting for a film on a island. The movie making team members have their own professional and personal relations with each others and they have their life stories.

The assistant director of the team is in love with the lead actress of the film, the director considers himself to be talented like Steven Spielberg and frustrated crew members are the action director and the spot boy. All these characters get together on lonely island and one by one death take place on the island.

As the characters are scared by the unknown killer they get together to fight against the evil unknown energy. Ramu is excited about his next venture “Agyaat” that appears to be similar to the movie “Gumnaam” having Manoj Kumar, Nanda ,Mehmood ,Helen and Pran and in the film these people are stuck on a lonely island. Ramu will be taking up new actors in his latest movie and he will start selecting actors for his film in some time.
