Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara will also be screened at ongoing Dubai International Film Festival. “I am very happy to receive the award as the subject of the film is close to my heart,” Kher said just before he left for Dubai to attend an international film festival there.
Urmila Matondkar who played Anupam’s daughter in the film is accompanying director Jahnu Barua to the Dubai Festival.
