King Khan and son, in Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena
Feroze Khan and son Fardeen will be seen together as conmen, in Pritish Nandy’s thriller, Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena, the directorial debut of writer Suparn Verma.
Fardeen Khan will be seen playing a professional conman whereas Feroze Khan will play a Harvard-educated don who deals in exclusive, highly sophisticated crimes only.
Father and son earlier acted jointly in Janasheen, directed by Khan senior and penned by Suparn.
Koena Mitra is the heroine of the film and Fardeen has lodes of praises for her, “She is extremely talented, a hard worker and very eager to learn. Koena is also very brave - in the couple of action scenes we did, she sported a smile.”
Suparna has high regards for King Khan “Khan saab loved the script and the character. He was most relaxed on the sets.” Suparn could think of no one but Khan Senior for the role of Jehangir Khan.
“Casting Fardeen in a project was the demand of the script,” says Suparn. “I’d written the film keeping Fardeen in mind. The way he talks, the wit and humor in his conversations, his mannerisms… the role is close to the real Fardeen in more ways than one.”
Both (Feroze and Fardeen) share a terrific rapport in real life, which extends to reel-life as well,” states Suparn.
