The assistant director of the Aamir Khan’s film “Lagaan” who later married the actor, Kiran Rao struggled like others to get a offer from husband to direct a film. Kiran narrated the script of film “Dhobi Ghat“ twice to Aamir to convince him and finally got a sanction from her husband to make the film on the script.
