Lafangey Parindey gets 50% to 60% response in first week
Lafangey Parindey got average response from audience in the week of release. It may be the poor marketing strategy of Yash Banner (the banner tried to avoid the hype it seems), the banner losing credibility as it delivered a number of average films in the last few months and the biggest drawback of the film was having a not – so popular music album – which has been the main attraction of many Yash Raj Banner film.
The story of the film is about a blind girl who wants to win a reality show and Neil Nitin Mukesh plays the role of a boxer , who helps the girl to overcome her physical disability’ to get a win in a show. The movie has a nice performance of the lead cast and people who watched the movie — felt it was nice movie.
The movie got 50% - 60% occupancy on an average and it grossed RS 3.5 crores from the sale of tickets from across Indian cities. The week end did not see a rise in audience but the response was simply average. The movie will get back expense and may make profits but it may not be a long runner.
The film weekend collection of the film was not more than Rs 10.50 crores .Aamir Khan’s film Peepli Live continues collecting more money as it grossed more than RS 21 crores from its screening across India and the main cause for people reaching to see the movie is that people believe Aamir Khan’s name and secondly the movie has a good new script.
