Prime Minister Manmohan Singh watched Peepli Live and BJP leader LK Advani said the matter of farmer suicide should not be shown in a comical way – it is a serious matter. The lead actors of the film including Omkar Das Manikpuri and Raghuvir Yadav were also present during the screening of the film at Prime Minister’s residence.
