What have you been doing?

Good work! I have been busy with not one, but two Hollywood projects titled 'Return to Rajapur' and 'The Whisperers'. Return to Rajapur is being directed by Nanda Anand and is about Rajasthan.

Tell us about your role.

I am playing the role of Prince Jai Singh, who owns a palace that has been converted into a heritage hotel. The film, which is full of mystery and intrigue, is the journey of a young woman. The film will be showcased at the New York Film Festival and will be released in other film festivals too.

What is ‘The Whisperers’ about?

The Whisperers is a psychological thriller also starring Rahul Bose. It's one of the most difficult roles I have ever done.

What happens to Kam Ya Zyaada?

The game show is getting over. My contract with them was for 100 episodes. After that, the channel will decide whether they want to continue or not.

Why have you limited yourself to only a few films a year?

I have always done quality work. I have undertaken only two or three projects a year. I don't want to sign films just for the sake of being in the limelight. I want to do good work and limit myself to two or three films a year, and not more than that.

Your forthcoming projects?

There is Ramanand Sagar's film 1971 being directed by Amrit Sagar. The movie deals with a group of six soldiers held as PoWs by Pakistan during the 1971 Bangladesh war. I plays one of these PoWs.
