Michael Moores Fahrenheit 9-11 suffer a setback

Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11 suffer a setback

iN DEMAND, a cable pay-per-view company, which was supposed to telecast Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11 just before the election date, has backup away from their contract. The reason from backing down is reported to be due to legitimate business and legal concerns.

Michael Moore on the other hand, claims they have stepped down following pressure from political lobbies esp. top republican people. The movie is highly critical of George Bush and his government. The movie was also in trouble with its original distributors Disney who backed down from its commercial release in movie theatres. Michael Moore had to later find other distributors to release the movie. It was a huge success collecting more than 100 million dollars at box office.

George Bush on the other hand called Michael Moore a slimeball and an expletive in a recent interview. In the movie, there is a scene with Michael Moore trying to ask a question to the president. George Bush apparently replies by saying… Get a job!

Let us see if Michael Moore can find a television channel also before the elections to telecast the movie. He has already missed on a sure shot Oscar award by moving the movie out of documentary category.
