Koel Purie plays a television reporter Vidya in Anima Films. Vidya is a media person and after completing the course in journalism she tries to initiate her career by finding Breaking News for the channel for which she works. She works towards getting some news from a sting operation and after she has completed the sting, she has another fight in her life.

Vidya is a young girl who after completing the course in journalism starts working as a new correspondent for a news channel. She initially starts for the entertainment channel, and then she shifts to cover crimes. She gets annoyed with the news into crimes. Then she tries to get some manipulated news to just enhance the TRP of her channel.

She tries unethical ways to get some growth in her career. In her search for breaking news to increase the TRP rating of her channel, she once gets a call from a girl who is getting sexually exploited by the high officials of the local police. When she reaches there she finds that the girl is exploited by DIG of the area in Pune.

She gets the best news of her life and the sting operation can bring great height to her career but she has the guilt feeling that she was unable to help the girl out of the hands of the rapist and so she promises the raped girl that the footage of her sting operation will not be telecasted on television. Her channel somehow gets the footage to show and Vidya has no option but to leave her job in high conflicts.

After leaving her jib as a correspondent for the channel Vidya tries to take the help of her friends Bala who is a crime correspondent in a different channel, Rafiq who is the cameraman and Trishna her college friend to fight for the sufferer girl and to work out their talents for the press her uncle owned.
