After successfully coming together in the film “Pyar Ke Side Effects,” Rahul Bose and Mallika Sherawat will again get together in the film “Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam.” Both the bollywood stars are considered extremely different from each other but their chemistry was admired by audience in the film “Pyar Ke Side Effects”.

The film is directed by Sanjay Chell who was interested in initially taking Tabu for the role but later opted for Mallika.

The film has nothing to do with the historical story of the film “Mughal-E-Azam”. The story is about a Nautanki group, Drama Company that holds stage shows and does theatricals. The drama troupe is called Kalakar Natak Company and the play done by the company is never understood by the audience.

But since the stage show has a socially relevant message, the actors and organizers are interested in making the audience watch the show. The challenge of making the show audience say ‘Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam’ is taken up by the artists in the show.

Along with the track of the artists of the show working hard to get noticed, another story goes parallel in the film. An undercover agent comes in contact with the theatres group and the group has the responsibility of protecting the country from a bomb blast. The artists come forth one by one and do their part of job to not allow the blast to happen and to save mankind.
