The story of the movie “Mere Baap Pehle Aap” has been written by Priyadarshan and the movie is a comedy that may be released in June. The story of the movie is about a young man who has friendly relations with his father, a widower and the man tries to arrange marriage of his father instead of his own.

A widower, Janaradhan Wishvanbhar Rane spent his life taking care of his kids Chirag and Gaurav. He does his best for his kids and as the kids grow up, Gaurav becomes the guardian of his father’s happiness. Father and son, have friendly relations and both take care of the household duties and business together.

Gaurav is aggressive and he doesn’t want his father to be friendly to Madhav Mathur, who is incidentally the best friend of Janaradhan, because Madhav has been spending his time in searching for a bride himself with the help of Janaradhan. Madhav wants to get married and every time he arranges for him the people with whom he will talk of his marriage he gets into some or other kind of trouble or embarrassment and is escaped from the scenes with the help of friend Janaradhan from the place. Madhav generally gets into some or the other kind of trouble while searching for a bride for him.

Gaurav while doing his business and duties get prank calls from a girl called Sheekha Kapoor, who is staying with her mother Anuradha and has been a college friend of Gaurav. Janardhan’s and Gaurav notice changes in the behavior of father when he meets Anuradha and the kids find out that Anuradha has been the first love of Janardhan and Gaurav wants his father to marry Anuradha, his first love.

In the meantime as Gaurav and Shekha get together to arrange a marriage for their parents, they too starts loving each other. Madhav is desperate to get a bride and he finds that his friend is getting a match instead of him.
