The promotionals of the movie “Sarkar Raj “ has been released and a lots of expectations of Bachchans and Ram Gopal Verma is associated to the movie. The movie is the sequel of the Ram Gopal Verma’s flick “Sarkar” and like the previous movie this one is also expected to be a powerful movie.

The story of the movie is a political drama and shows the fight for power amongst top leaders. The story is also said to be similar to the Narmada Dam Project though Ram Gopal Verma strictly denies comparing his movie to any real life story.

Anita Rajan is the CEO of an international company, Sheppard power plant ,that has a plan to set up a power project in India and that will be based in a Maharashtrian village A young man Shanker ,can realize that the implementation of the project will bring benefit to the villagers and he convinces Sarkar to sanction the project and he himself is helped by the CEO Anita to reach the villagers and to convince them about the benefits of the project since the help of the masses is the need of the project.

But soon the projects comes in the eyes of the politicians who want to benefit personally from the project and couldn’t see Shakar’s growing popularity with the masses and these political groups plan to wipe out Shankar from the political scene itself. The story is how Shankar fights with the opposing groups and keeps up with the expectations of the masses.
