Coupl Krish and Meera are struggling through their married life and trying to climb the corporate ladders to succeed in professional life. The couple is extremely frustrated and finds it difficult to make all the sacrifices they have to make to get success in life. The couple goes in search for “The Great Indian Butterfly” which was last seen by a Portuguese explorer in a remote valley in Goa. The Great Indian Butterfly possesses magical powers to provide everything to the person who catches it.

The couple moves out of the city to the beach city Goa and they search for the butterfly along the west coast of Sahyadris. The journey in search of the butterfly brings a series of personal experiences for the couple as they want to rediscover the magical powers.

The butterfly is taken as a symbol for getting the life’s truth and it signifies a futile hunt for achieving something. The tale also shows the changing lifestyles of Indians.
