The movie directed by Ridley Scott who made Gladiator and Black Hawk Down, has a story of drug lord and gangsters. The 157 minutes movie is rated R for showing violence and crudity. The well presented movie is expected to be a hit in coming months.
The cast in the movie are Denzel Washington who plays the role of Frank Lucas and Russell Crowe who plays Richie Roberts, a detective in the movie.
The American Gangster is a action movie showing a criminal who advocates discipline and dignity in criminals. The script of the movie is by Steven Zaillian.

American Gangster reminds me yet again what a versatile actor Russell Crowe is… plus Ridley Scott deftly leads us into loving the bad guy and disliking the good guy only to flip that around by the end of the movie… very clever.
