Ram Gopal Varma excels in showing onscreen underworld terror stories and violence .The unpredictable script in the movie “Contract” will call the audience to go to theatres and watch the movie. The presence of new faces with no background makes the film look sensible. But the film is not fun musical entertainer and the film comes out with a serious revelation. The film is less forceful than previous RGV movies. The music of the film is average and cinematography matches the theme of the film.

The story of the film is about a man Aman, later Amaan who lost his family members in a bomb blast and his way to take revenge is to join the underworld gang and the terrorists and kill its key members. The man Amaan gets trained in using arms and and he fights his two rival gang members Goonga and RD. Amaan becomes the sharp shooter of the gang and becomes one of the trusted members of the gang. The film is about how Aman plans, his steps and how he faces with uncertainty while fighting with the terrorist group members.

The film is unlike “Company” and “Satya” in strength but it has original gangster story and the film reveals the connection of underworld to terrorism and the script has surprises like many RGV movies. Terrorism for the first time has been shown this way in a movie.

The performances of the newcomers are not immature and the actors are good in performance. The female cop is impressive. The expressions of debutants take time to grab the audience but gradually the film has some scenes that make you hook to screens. A few bloodshed scenes are terrorizing. The performance of actors is intense as per the need of the film. The role of Prasad Purandare as cop and Vibha Chebur as female cop is impressive. Sakshi Gulati, Vineet Sharma and Adhvik Mahajan are impressive debutants.

The film will not make entertainment and fun searching audiences, to reach theatres but the RGV fans and the multiplex viewers will have an option to watch a movie of different genre, other than romantic comedy “Kismat Konnection” or “Jaane Tu…..”
