Shashant Shah.’s Dasvidaniya is an emotional movie that comes with little bit of happiness and sorrows. The best thing about the film is that common man can identify with the lead character. Every man has a kind of to-do list of his life that is sometimes never fulfilled in his lifetime but the leading man of “Dasvidaniya “fulfills his last formulated to-do –list.

The story of the film is about a man Amar who is mediocre and unnoticed by people around him. He is simple man who everyday makes a to-do –list and he plans his day as per the list and his day ends up in his regular duties. One day the man meets a doctor and he is informed that he will die in three months.

Amar makes a final to-do-list of his life and then fulfills his wishes one by one .He expresses love on a rainy day to the girl whom he loved. He gets confidents and talks to his boss with courage and conviction.

The film has soothing music although there are not many songs and some sequences are happy and emotional ones. The film gets weak in certain portions for script that makes it look unrealistic. Cinematography is average. You don’t watch beautiful locations in the movie; instead it is the performance and script that holds you.

The initial hour of the movie keeps you hooked and last part is dull. Performance of Vinay Pathak is excellent and it reminds you of some good old movies that are philosophically inclined. Neha Dhupia looks good in the role. Saurabh Shukla, Rajat Kapoor, Ranvir Shorey, Sarita Joshi and Gaurav Gera are perfect in their roles.

The film comes with low glamour and attraction but it will get audience in few multiplexes for sensitive subject and performance of lead actors.
