Movie Review Dil Dosti Etc

The movie based on college life and Delhi University, Dil Dosti Etc is produced by Prakash Jha and is directed by Manish Tiwari.The movie casts Shreyas Talpade as Sanjay Mishra, Nikita Anand as Prerna, Imaad Shah as Apurv, Smriti Mishra as Vaishali, Ishita Sharma as Kintu

The story of the movie is about four youngsters in Delhi University. Sanjay is from a village and is involved in University politics. One of the girls, Vaishali is a prostitute. Apurv is son of a rich man and is a cosmopolitan. The girl, Prerna, wish to be a model and has love friendship with Sanjay.

Kintu is a school going girl in love with Apurv. There were too many issues on which the director could have shocked the audience but none of the stories is powerful enough to gain audience in the theatres. The friends don’t look to be as attached as we find in college lives.

The music of the movie is average. The cinematography by Arvind K is ok. The script and the story is not properly written and so the movie lacks a base on which to move instead it looks moving in any direction with out any reason.

Shreyas Talpade has performed well in the movie. The movie Dil Dosti Etc doesn’t creates a positive impact among the audiences. For Shreyas Talpade last week movie Aggar and Dil Dosti Etc, both are unable to generate any benefit.

He will have to wait for his next venture Om Shanti Om to get some good news. Nikita Anand and Imaad Shah, both are debuting from the movie Dil Dosti Etc. Imaad Shah looks to be a gentleman and not the role he is performing in the movie. Nikita Anand and Ishita are good. Smriti Mishra is average.

Even though there were many scopes available for the subject of the movie, the movie lacks an aggressive story to catch the audience
