The film “Love Story 2050” is a more of a love story than a science fiction. The film has a few attractive special effects, actions, robots and dances from Harman but the overall script is unclear as it shows two different decades and imaginary year 2050. The film is influenced by Hollywood movies on science fictions and Roshan’s films. The time machine script has unreal and unjustified sequences that make the audience keep guessing of what was happening.

The film has problems in direction and the debutant actor Harman Baweja needs to improve upon his dialogues though his looks are very impressive and he is fair in delivering stunts and emotions onscreen. Priyanka Chopra is in double role and she has less scope to show her talents in the film .A rebirth story has been added in the film that makes it more confusing.

The story of the film is about a rich man’s young son Karan whose father gets no time for his son and Karan wants to get into love with a girl of his choice. He meets Sana and falls in love with her. Sana has a dream to see how the time machine worked that was being developed by uncle Ya but Sana dies and when the time machine starts working it shows another girl called Zeisha who has looks similar to Sana. It is made to believe that she is the girl Sana who is reborn as Zeisha in 2050.Karan decides to remind Zeisha of his love in her previous birth and bring her back to 2008 after fighting the villain Dr Hoshi who wants to steal the time machine from uncle Ya.

The film shows the city Mumbai completely different from current decade. Flying cars, robots, teddy bears and the girl Zeisha is made to know her love of previous birth through a love song, so it says emotions are same in all decades. To add to the entertainment is a few comedy sequences from Boman Irani and Archana Puran Singh that are impressive. The music of the film is average but the dances are choreographed and danced impressively.

The film is average romance love story that goes to show fictious time machine and imaginary 2050 decade .The initial part of the film concentrates on love story of the lead stars but the chemistry of the two lead stars has not been brought out well and second part is completely different from previous part that goes in the year 2050.the film has many points that reminds you of Hrithik debuting film.

The film will get average collections on box-office and will attract teenager audience because it has been promoted to be a science fiction.
