The film ‘Meri Padosan’ is a low budget less promoted film having a character called Shyam Gopal Varma, who is a struggling director. The film shows how Shyam tries to find a script and to make a movie from his neighborhood’s happening. As expected with unknown actors and debuting casts, the movie has low scope and nothing to offer.

The story of the film is about clerk Viju and his wife Kavita who live in the neighborhood of Shyam Gopal Varma (It appears the name is inspired from Ram Gopal Varma) who has come to his friends’ house to get a break into movie industry. He is trying to make a movie and he gets an opportunity to show his talent in the contest held by Live India channel but he has no story and he tries to get it from his neighborhood .He keeps spying on the chemistry of his neighborhood couple. The script of the movie is about indecency of the young aspiring director and about the performance of the lead actors, you should not have high expectation.

The multiplexes are not screening movies and the economy is down. Audience are not interested in spending money on less valuable things and in the current scenario, you cannot expect this kind of movie to work.
