The Genesh Acharya film “Money Ha to Honey Hai “ has a few scenes that can make you laugh but in general the film lacks to be an entertainer and the script of the film has many loopholes and meaningless twists and turns are present , adding to the trash is the less spontaneous performance of the lead stars.

The script of the film has many, why it was shown? And how did it happen? The characters include Bobby who is a cool lucky man and he leaves his home to prove that he is good for something.

A man Lalabhai who gets accidentally wealthy and he even loose money in the same way and he is again on road. A copywriter Gaurav fired from his job, a dress designer Shruti, who wears her own dresses because there is nobody to praise her dresses and a famous TV actress Ashima who wants to be a film actress. Manik who is a struggling model and he sleeps with a middle aged fashion designer to get a break into his career.

All these people once get SMS’s that informs them that they are owners of a Rs 1000 crores company and when they all reach the company, they are told that the company has to pay back Rs 1200 crores dues and after paying the dues they will become the owners and until then they are all are trapped into the company.

The people getting the SMS are basically, random phone numbers picked up by Prem Chopra who sends the SMS’s. The first half is extremely unpredictable and illogical and the audience keeps thinking something entertaining will happen. There are so many characters and all not very imposing in their performance, their basic nature as the basic plot is revealed in the first half and second half is about the tricks and trials from the characters who make ways to come out of the trouble and to get money.

The second half has interesting parts in pieces but overall effect of the movie gets low for the initial part. A few songs are choreographed well and cinematography is average. Director’s angles are fine but the director couldn’t judge the script well.

The actor Govinda has kept himself busy in politics and that looks in his performance, he has turned old and pairing with actress like Hansika is a complete mismatch. Manoj Bajpai couldn’t fit the movie genre and Aftab Shivdasani is ok. Upen Patel is effective.

The film will get viewers basically Govinda’s fans and people will watch Hansika doing a movie in a mature way but the movie will do a below average business on the box- office.
