Story:
Tumsa Nahin Dekha happened after the sucess of Murder. After the success of Murder the hit combo of Mahesh Bhatt, Mukesh Bhat, Anurag Bose, Emraan Hashmi minus Mallika Sherawat decided to join hands to make Tumsa Nahin Dekha and the movie releases today among quantum expectations raised by the success of Murder. As we enter the Cinema Halls the some questions ring in our mind..

• Will Tumsa Nahin Dekha do wonders for Bhatt camp?
• Can Dia Mirza replicate the success story of Mallika Sherawat?

Story
Daksh Mittal (Emraan Hashmi) is a charmingly witty and perpetually drunk millionaire. He comes across a working class girl Jia (Dia Mirza), shoplifting at a mall and its love at first sight for Daksh. He subsequently discovers that Jia is actually a striptease dancer.

But unfortunately for Daksh and Jia, the timing of this romantic encounter is odd. Daksh is scheduled to marry a properly pedigreed society girl Anhaita Madhwani (Pooja Bharti) whom he detests. But if Daksh doesn’t marry Anhaita the heiress, he will not inherit the million-dollar trust.

So Daksh turns to his loyal butler, John Uncle (Anupam Kher) for help. John who wishes to see Daksh prevail, stage-manages a situation in which the true lovers will come together and get the loot.

Tumsa Nahi Dekha is nothing differnt then regular bollywood fair and would have seen a million similar romantic stories. However, the turning point in the tale is that the boy is forced to marry someone he despises and in turn, he makes an offer to Dia Mirza to be his mistress.

Characters
The whole movie has been set to revolve around Emraan and Dia. But the writer and the screenplay fail to build up an effective narrative. Anupam Kher is sidelined suddenly with no explanation, Sharat saxena irritates, grandmother (Surekha Sikri) looks unfit for the role and her character is a complete trash and even the other girl (Pooja Bharti) has got nothing much to do except giving angry stares. The writer fails to cook up a decent enough explanations for the reason why Emraan hates this poor kiddo soo much!! Any suggestions?

The only saving grace of the movie are its lead pair - Emraan and Dia. From the frst frame to the last they carry the weight of the movie effortlessly. Its a delight how well Emraan handles his character. He reminds you of the graceful Mickey Rourke in Nine 1/2 Weeks. We just hope he doesn’t end up like him.

This movie is do or die for Dia Mirza. She had to perform an un-conventional role and she shows no inhibitation. She performs her part with un-deviated, super confident mindset.

There is nothing special about the movies music. A certain number - ‘Mujhse Tumse Mohabbat Hai’ rings few bells but then thats it. You don’t remember any other song as you leave the cinema hall.

Tumsa Nahi Dekha fails not because of the subject but due to its tipid and haphazard screenplay. Had the person responsible been a little more open minded and creative the movie would have been a worthy successor of Murder.
