Movie Review - The Spiderwick Chronicles

The movie “The Spiderwick Chronicles” is directed by Mark Waters and stars Freddie Highmore, Joan Plowright, Mary-Louise Parker, David Strathairn and Martin Short are in main roles. The movie is based on the magical world of Spiderwick. The movie is like the Harry Potter series and has all the special effects and music by James Horner to match the fantasy depicted in the movie and it also has a moral lesson behind all the magic.

The movie is based on the kids book by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black and the screenplay of the movie has been dome by Karey Kirkpatrick, David Berenbaum and John Sayes, that follows the four family members who reach their uncle’s home and get into magical journeys.
