Music Review: Aisha

“Aisha” comes with a youthful girly note but the album ensures to entertain all, and the lead pair of Sonam and Abhay Deol has already created an appeal. The music of the movie has been composed by Amit Trivedi and the lyrics are written by Javed Akhtar.

‘Aisha’: Amit Trivedi has given voice to the title number and he is joined by Ash King and Nakash Aziz. The song appears urbane and it attracts immediately. It is a sweet youthful number of the album.

‘Gal Mitthi Mitthi’: The song with the Punjabi lyrics ‘Gal Mitthi Mitthi’ has voice of Tochi Raina and the song also has a dhol remix version. This one is another nice number with a great tune mixed to Punjabi style of music.

‘Sham’: Amit Trivedi gets back to sing the song “Sham” the youthful number and he is joined by Nikhil D’Souza and Neuman Pinto for the song. This one is set to hit the charts and be popular with college goers and young audience.

‘Behke Behke’: Anushka Manchanda sings the song styled in old bollywood way and the signer is supported by Samrat Kaushal and Raman Mahadevan. This song with a theme of seduction is above average in rendition.

‘Lehrein’: Anusha Mani gets back behind the mike to sing the song “Lehrein”, and the vocals are of Nikhil D’Souza and Neuman Pinto. It is a song with a sad note about love not met. The song comes with a remixed version and is average to hear even in the second version.

‘By The Way’: Anusha Manchanda again comes behind the mike to sing the song ‘By The Way’ and this one is a urban college / campus kind of song. The song comes with all girls theme and is a nice song.

Throughout the album the urban metro city feel has been maintained and most of the songs of the album will appeal youth.
