“Chamku” is the film based on Naxalites in Northern Indian states and the film is directed by Kabeer Kaushik known for making the film “Sehar” based on the underworld don .The music of the film is composed by Monty Sharma.
‘‘Aaja Milke'’ – The song is in voice of Shreya Ghoshal and the song has the classical Indian touch .The lyrics are impressively Indian and the song is basically a love and peace song.
‘’Kithe Jawan'’- The song about the pain of separation between two lovers and the folk lyrics can be heard in the song ‘’Kithe Jawan'’ .The song is in voice of Richa Sharma known for her rustic voice .The song is not heavy in beats but the western effect is prominent in the song it is basically Indian regional kind of song with western effects. The song is dominating.
‘’Bin Daseyaa'’ – The remix version of’ ‘Kithe Jawan'’ is the song ‘’Bin Daseyaa.'’
‘‘Gola Gola'’ –The song ‘’Gola Gola'’ is a holi song in the voice of Amitrajit Bhattacharjee and Vaishali Samant and the lyrics of the song are written in a way to infuse fun in the holi sequence.
‘’Trance'’-The song has western arrangements, instruments and Arabic music along with the western kind of lyrics that makes the song different .The song is in voice of Saleem Shahzaad, Soumya Raoh and Anaida. The lyrics of the song are striking.
‘’Dukh Ke Badri’‘- A sad song ‘’Dukh Ke Badri'’ has been sung by Kalpana, Parthiv Gohil and Shail and it makes one to feel that this is situational song with impressive lyrics from Sameer.
The album doesn’t have many melodious romantic love or party songs but overall the songs are hearable and as per the subject of the film.
