Music Review: Good Luck

The music of the album has been composed by Anu malik and the lyrics of the songs are by Sameer. The film music also has Lucky Ali singing one song for the album but the overall impact of the album is mediocre.
“Main Sajda”- The song has been sung by Sukhwinder Singh and the shrill voiced Shilpa Rao. The music of the song has electronics sounds and Arabian effect. The song is a romantic dance party song.
“Nazar Mein Hai Chehra”-The song “Nazar Mein Hai Chehra” has been sung by Lucky Ali and Vasundhra Das and the music is again a composed to be made into western latino Arabic dance number similar to previous song. Another version of the song called hip hop mix is also present in the album. This song has higher number of beats as compared to previous one.
“Good Luck”- The title track is effective and has the upbeat voices of Adnan Sami and Sunidhi Chauhan. The song has disco beats and the term ‘good luck’ for fate changes has been used though out the song. This one is a party song and rather a narration one. The song comes in another version called the Club Remix version and it has overall inputs of fun, comedy and dance.
“Soniya Aaja Ni”-The song has been sung by Krishna and the song is full of high beats and party sounds. The song has punjabi effect and theme is emotions, feel good and energy. Another version of the song is present in the album that is called “Soniya Aaja Ni (House Mix)”.The song has been sung well and is impressive.
The film is a comedy and about two songs match the genre of the film. The film is coming up with less known lead actors, so the music need to be impressive to call audience to theatres but the album is average.
Rating: 4/10
