Music Review: Hastey Hastey

The music of the comedy movie “Hastey Hastey” has been composed by Anu Malik and lyrics have been written by Sameer. The songs of the movie are not fresh ones and the movie songs are not even matching the theme of comedy of the movie.
“Hastey Hastey”-A new singer Shiv Ram Kumar and Sunidhi Chauhan get together for the title track of the movie and the song is just not impressive.
“Hastey Hastey (second version) “- The sad version of the same song “Hastey Hastey” seems to be a situational song but it is equally unimpressive as the original one.
“Bheegi Bhegi Teri Zulfien” –The song has been sung by Kunal Ganjewala and this one is good to listen. Anu Malik’s composition and Sameer’s lyrics are meaningful. The song has been sung well and can reach charts.
“Almad Chere Khuda” –A sufi kind of song “Almad Chere Khuda” with loads of rock music has the electronic instrument sound and the song has been sung by Zubin. The song is just average in outcome.
“Rock the World”-The music of the song has rock beats and there are two versions of the song. One of the versions is in Shaan’s voice and anther in the voice of Sunidhi Chahaan’s. Just a part of music is hearable otherwise the song is not above average to hear.
“New Age Mantra”-Anu Malik tries to deliver music as the choice of current generation but this one disappoints. The voice of Kunal Ganjawala and Sunidhi Chauhaan are least imposing in the song. This song has also been made into two versions.
“Hum Hain Tum Ho” –The song has been sung by Sunidhi Chauhaan and this one too is not above average.
The album has one or two songs that can be heard and re-heard; otherwise most of the songs do not create an impact.
Rating: 4/10
