Music Review: Money Hai Toh Honey Hai

After “Partner” Govinda is getting back to his audience with the film “Money Hai Toh Honey Hai,” that is a Kumar Mangat film directed by Ganesh Acharya and the music of the film has been composed by Nitin Arora and Sony Chandy.
“Money Hai Toh Honey Hai” - The songs has been filled with unusual sounds by Nitz ‘N’ Sony to make it hilarious and the theme of the song is if there is money then you get everything .In the promotional of the song on TV, Govinda is shown performing unusual dance steps and Hansika Motwani looking more than her age. The song is not a melodious number but is a hilarious situational number that fails to make you laugh but if the movie works and the song fits the situation, it will get accepted by the audience. Harshdeep Kaur has also given her voice to the song.
“Awaara Dil” – The song is voiced by Adnan Sami later joined by Shruti Pathak, Nitz ‘N’ Sony, Ishq Bector, Arya, Bob, Shantanu Hudlikar and it is a kind of western rap number with a lot of (desi) styles. The lyrics are of Sameer and this is a mediocre track. The theme of the track is about people running after money.
“Chhuriyaan “– This is a romantic song in voice of Sunidhi Chauhan and Labh Janjua. The song has the ingredients of Sufi and Punjabi mixed and it is a slow song having instruments and orchestra sounds.
“Ta Na Na” – The song is a kind of rap in the voice of Kunal Ganjawala and Rekha Bharadwaj. The vocals of the song are in voices of Nitz ‘N’ Sony, Earl and Arya and it appears to be made into a fun generating song but the outcome is not that hilarious.
“Rangeeli Raat”-Most of the albums these days have Punjabi Bhangra to prove that it is a celebration song and this album also has a Bhangra song. The song is in voice of Daler Mehandi and later in the song voices of Master Saleem, Sunidhi Chauhan and Arya can also be heard. This is also an average track that appears to be heard somewhere.
“No Big Deal” – The song is in voice of Suraj Jagan and lyrics are of Sameer and the instruments sounds of electric guitar can be heard. This one is better than the previous songs in the album.
“Dance Master” –This song is a situational number with westernized music and has in between Maharashtrian dance sounds. This song fails to generate any melody.
“Hope (instrumental)”-The instrumental in the album is impressive and it is on the song “No Big Deal”. The sound of symphony by Naveen and Mumbai Cine Strings is impressive and overall impact of the instrumental is effective.
The songs of the album are average in outcome and will suit the need of a comedy film.
Rating: 4/10
