The music of “Paathshala” is composed by Hanif Shaikh and the songs have been choreographed by Ahmed Khan. The film is based on the theme of Indian schooling and the songs are specifically designed in way to carry the theme.

‘Aye Khuda’ : The most promoted track of the album is ‘Aye Khuda’ ,which is a soothing simple song that matches the “school / Paathshala” theme of the movie. The number has western Orchestra sound and it has a positive impact on the listeners. Salim Merchant perfectly suits the need of the song as a singer. The music of the song is by Hanif Sheikh.

‘Bekaraar ‘: Lucky Ali has given voice to the song ‘Bekaraar’ and it is another good one of the album.

‘Paathshaala - Khushnuma: The track has western beats and the track is in voice of Vishal , which is nice to listen. The song has been composed by Hanif Shaikh and the overall arrangement of the music is fine.

‘Mujhe Teri’:
This is a romantic number of the album and it is in female voice of Tulsi Kumar .The song has been co-composed by Vijay Lama, who has also given his voice to the song. The song also has the voice of Akansha Lama. This is a bit different from other songs and it has a slow pace, but it is ok to hear.

‘Teri Marzi Aye Khuda’:
The song is a situational number by Kailaash Kher and it has a positive impact.

Overall the album is a decent one, having a few good songs and it matches the theme of the film.
