Music Review: Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic

The film “Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic” has been directed by Kunal Kohli, who earlier came up in “Hum Tum” with the same lead pair, Rani Mukherjee and Saif Ali Khan. The music of the film has been composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and lyrics are of Prasoon Joshi. The film is a Yash Raj Banner movie and the music is expected to be entertaining.

‘Pyaar Ke Liye ‘- Shankar Mahadevan’s voice and Prasoon Joshi’s lyrics, is just an ideal combination to give a good song and the music is also entertaining. This one is above average in outcome.

‘Nihaal Ho Gayi’ –The second song has the beatings of qwalli along with the music and ‘Nihaal Ho Gayi’ is also average in outcome. Shankar Mahadevan gives his voice to the song and the effect is just not very entertaining.

‘Nihaal Ho Gayi’ -Later in the album a remixed version of ‘Nihaal Ho Gayi’ is present that has been done by DJ Aqeel and the version is better than the original as it satisfies the dance beats need in the song.

‘Bulbula’- Sunidhi Chauhan sings this song that the song has the theme that the world is imaginary, a temporary place to live in. This one has the western sound that is soothing to hear and outcome is average.

‘Lazy Lamhe ‘-The mixed English and Hindi lyrics together in this seductive song is impressive and it is expected that this song will be pictured on Ameesha Patel. The song has been sung by Anusha Mani.

‘Lazy Lamhe ‘(Remix )- Another version of the song ‘Lazy Lamhe Chalte Hai’ has been remixed by DJ Aqeel that is full of high beats an it is better than the original version.

‘Beetey Kal’- The dreamy fairy tale song in which Rani Mukherjee is accompanied by kids is ‘Beetey Kal’ and the voice in the song is of Shreya Ghoshal. The kids Sneha and Suresh also accompany Shreya in this song. Theme of the song is that “the world is too good”. The song is average in outcome.

The album has songs that will be liked by children and parents too may find a few good to listen. The remixed version will satisfy those who need energetic party songs with high beats.
