Nana Patekar to direct film

Actor Nana Patekar has announced that he will soon enter the direction field. It is said that he is waiting to complete ‘Apaharan’, and then resume direction work under the banner of Prakash Jha some time in November.

Since the scripting is over, he will start working on the casting. Nana said this to Smashits during the muhurt of Raj Kumar Santoshi’ ‘Saamana’. Nana didn’t divulge more though.

However, it is said that Nana would prefer Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee’s pair in his movie. He has already sent the script to both of them for their study and approval. Both of them have sought two weeks’ time to give their final reply
