National Treasure makes $45.5 million on the first day

The American Box office got a grand movie last week in the Year 2007, as the National Treasure: Book of Secrets was released. The actions thriller movie marked by four debutants sold $45.5 million worth tickets on the first day of its release. In its initial weekend the movie distributed by Walt Disney Pictures topped the movie charts.
I Am Legend that grossed a total of $34.2 million has gone down to second number after the release of the movie and the kids movie Alvin and the Chipmunks holds the third positions with $29 million business at box office.
