Farhan Akhtar assistant Reema Kagti who is making her debut as a director with film ‘Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd’ has accused director Nikhil Advani of swiping her story for his film ‘Salaam-E-Ishq’.

This means we have two films in the making that has more or less the same storyline of six couples on Honeymoon. (What a waste!)

Reema revealed that she had narrated a story idea to Nikhil when she was assisting Farhan for Lakshya but things could not get materialized with him at that moment. “I had narrated my love story woven around six couples, to Nikhil Advani. He also had a second round of complete script narration with my dialogue writer Anurag Kashyap. I don’t know why he didn’t do the film”, she said.

And now through newspapers she came to know that his films storyline a similar to hers. “Nikhil didn’t speak to me about his film. I read about it in the newspapers. His film is also about six couples. However, I am not sure about the rest of the storyline”, she added.

Now both the directors are hurrying hard to finish their film before the other. Nikhil wants to release it during Diwali this year and has already started a 35-day shooting schedule in Mumbai. While Kagti’s film will be shot in Goa with a start-to-finish schedule starting from March 9 which should be winded till April 25.

Apparently Advani is facing delay due to date problem of big stars and Salman Khan’s recent hair transplant.

Produced by Mukesh Talreja and Sunil Malchandani the film has some big stars like John Abraham opposite Vidya Balan, Salman Khan opposite Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor with Juhi Chawla, Sohail Khan with Perizaad Zorabian, Akshay Khanna opposite Ayesha Takia and Govinda is stared with South African actress Shannon Esra.
