The film by Joel and Ethan Coen “No Country for Old Men” bagged four awards for the Best Picture, Bet Director, the Best supporting actor and Best adapted Screenplay. French actress Marion Cotillard got the award for “La Vie en Rose,” and Daniel Day-Lewis got the Best actor award for his performance in “There Will Be Blood.”.
Other than the best actor award “There Will Be Blood” got the best cinematography award. The 80th Academy Awards function was held in Los Angeles and the glamorous stars were mostly dressed in Black and red gowns.
