Govinda after a long gap in his career is returning with a movie of his style of comedy called partner. The comedy chemistry and timings of the two artists Salmaan and Govinda can be seen in the promos released of the movie partner.

The advertisements for the promotion of the movie are being done. Recently on News channel ‘Aak Tak’ promotion of the movie was done by telecasting a show where Govinda interviewed Salmaan Khan about the movie .The comfort level between the actors was average.

Replying to a question asked by Salmaan Khan, Govinda said his favorite khan was Kader khan, who worked with him in many movies.

Salmaan was questioned by Govinda about his marriage and he replied “not this year “.

The producer of the movie is Sohail Khan, who is the youngest brother of Salmaan Khan. As expected of a Govinda comedy movie the movies id directed by David Dhawan.

The distributors of the movie are Eros International. Eros International have distributed ‘Salaam-E-Ishq’, ‘Eklavya’, ‘Provoked’, ‘Namastey London’ and ‘Cheeni Kum’ this year and will also be taking up the distribution of ‘Gandhi My Father’ and ‘Heyy Babyy’ also.

The cast of the movie include Govinda,Salmaan Khan, Katrina Kaif and Lara Dutta.
The story of the movie as narrated by Sohail Khan is about a date doctor , Prem played by Salmaan Khan who tries to help Bhaskar ,played by Govinda ,to date a rich and famous girl namely , Priya Jaisingh played by Katrina Kaif , who is also daughter of a business tycoon .Lara Dutta plays a journalist ,Naina who is liked by the date doctor Prem , but Prem is unable to express his feelings out to the journalist Naina .

The movie is expected to be viewed by all Govinda and Davind dhawan combination fans. People after much wait will again be able to watch the pair performance and Salmaan Khan has been liked by audience for all kinds of romantic, emotional, action and comedy performances.

The music of the movie has already catched up with the audience that has a few dancy numbers with Dhawan kind of lyrics and the movie is expected to release in second last week of July .
