At Times Square Hrithik was mobbed by more than five hundred fans which resulted in traffic jam during the premier of Kites. Roshan’s made special arrangement for the fans who were coming in many numbers. Initially at the premiere arrangement was made for fixed number of guests but later Rakesh Roshan had to add more chairs. At the premiere the short version of Kites (which is called the Kites The Remixed) was shown.

The premiere was participated by Karan Johar and he said “it is beyond brilliance.” The movie has everything compelling and Barbara looks lovely. He said Hrithik Roshan’s performance was beyond comparison. Roshans were proud to see the response. The premier was attended by Mexican Myrna Moncayo, director, who said Hrithik in Mariachi costume is set to make new fans in Mexican audience where Barbara is already very popular.

Myrna Moncayo is married to an Indian management consultant and she said the passionate love story, the salsa dance steps, stunts and car chases will make the movie sell tickets at high speed. Both the leading actor and actresses of the movie did their stunts themselves which includes hanging from the racing truck or leaping from the cars.

The team of kites headed to London Premiere after the New York premiere. Roshans are waiting to see the response of the aam junta as the movie is released on May 21 and Suzzane wrote on twitter she hopes it’s the same with aam junta. In India the movie will be shown from 6.30 a.m. at multiplexes on May 21.
