‘Krrish’ the much anticipated sequel to the blockbuster sci-fi movie ‘Koi Mil Gaya’, will see Preity Zinta playing Hrithik’s mom.

‘Koi Mil Gaya’ starred Hrithik and Preity Zinta as love birds and Rekha as Hrithik mom. But in ‘Krrish’, Preity’s character will die after delivering baby Krrish. She has a cameo role to make sure that there is some continuity to the story. Rekha will have a full-fledged role as Krrish grandmother.

In the upcoming movie Hrithik plays a gifted man with super powers bestowed on him by an alien. He is extremely strong, fast, and agile and sports six distinctive looks in the movie. All the stunts in the film which are said to be similar to those in the Hollywood movie, Spiderman, will be computer generated.

The story follows his adventures and his romance with Priyanka Chopra and fight with villain Nasserrudin Shah. Manini De, a popular TV soap actress, will be Priyanka’s friend in Krrish. However, nothing is being said about the loving alien Jadoo as of now.

If Koi Mil Gaya was a box office hit in the UK, then Krrish is expected to take UK cinemas by storm upon its release. The film is expected to be released in June 2006.
