Priyanka apprehensive about negative roles

Priyanka Chopra may have won loads of accolades and two awards for her bold and villainous act in Aitraaz, but now she says that she is apprehensive about a role on same lines again.

The former Miss World clarifies that she is not averse to doing negative roles, but says no role, that she will portray, will be as bold as something she did in Aitraaz.

Aitraaz had Priyanka playing a manipulative woman eyeing to seduce Akshay Kumar, for her own sexual gratification.

Priyanka’s next release will be Karam, with John Abraham, where she plays the wife of a reformed assassin. According to the actress it is a “very powerful” performance.

“It is a very special film for me because of the emotional turmoil I went through while enacting the role of Shalini,” says Priyanka, whose last release was the dud Blackmail.

Karam is slated to release on March 11.
