Rani plays a prostitute in The Rising

It is almost like role reversal time for Rani and Kareena! Recently, we told you about Kareena doing Rani’s Black act and now its Rani doing Kareena’s Chameli act. For the first time in her career span, Rani plays a prostitute in Ketan Mehta’s The Rising. Seven years after being paired with Aamir Khan in Ghulam and a song in Mann, Rani is back to rub shoulders with him, in the most awaited movie of the year.

Rani plays an 18th century prostitute called Heera. She admits that she had to work on her body language for this role. She says that prostitutes are not at all conscious of their body; as for them it is a commodity on sale. It is their business to attract customers and hence they have to be Khullam Khulla, adds the actress.

Rani adds that although the character is raunchy and requires a lot of ada on display, she enjoyed every bit of it.
