Bengali beauty Rituparna Sengupta, after reigning over Tollywood, is now hoping to storm Bollywood. And she has no qualms over exposure either.

“I have been wearing skimpy clothes and have done the running-around-trees routine in my Bengali films too. So what’s so different about Bollywood? These are the staple ingredients of any commercial venture. I don’t mind exposing if the story demands it. There is a thin line between erotica and vulgarity and I am mature enough to know the difference,” she says.

And she is confident of proving herself as an actress and a glam diva.

Sengupta has recently done Main Meri Patni Aur Woh, opposite Rajpai Yadav and the shift to Hindi cinema has not been all that easy “I am worried about my Hindi diction but am improving.” The actress says she is not new to Bollywood. “I did a film called Teesra Kaun some years ago,” she says.

Rituparna is not expecting commercial filmmakers flocking to her door and says, “I’m open to good roles and it would be a bonus if different roles came my way.”

Sengupta, who has bagged the National Award twice, feels they lose their luster after a while. “I would rather go for recognition from the masses, as it is my fans that matter at the end of the day. I just want to continue doing good work, and substantial roles will follow eventually”
